Who is eligible to join?

  • AWC Antwerp is open to English-speaking women.
  • Women of all ages, nationalities, ethnicities, religions, income levels, and perspectives are welcome to join.

Benefits of membership:

  • Friendship: we are a community of sisterhood offering friendship across many different nationalities.
  • Membership meetings: we meet mostly in person (in the city or in the suburbs) or online, with daytime, evening, and weekend events.
  • Something for everyone: we offer a variety of events.
  • Networking: are you interested in networking? The club community is well connected with each other, and with other FAWCO clubs.
  • Personal growth: we have speakers at the monthly meetings who address a variety of interesting topics. For instance, Your Well-Being is a group that addresses health related topics.
  • Social media: members can access the private Facebook group, website membership portal, WhatsApp groups and the monthly newsletter, in addition to our public Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Philanthropic involvement: opportunities include local and global organizations.
  • FAWCO Membership: members can automatically access certain events organized by FAWCO and members clubs, as well as scholarship programs.

Are you interested in becoming a member?

A General Member is any individual who has been approved for membership and who has paid the membership fee.

All members are General Members.

There is no provision for automatically recurring membership payments. Our membership subscription period begins annually on June 1.

New Members:

  • The new member fee is €80, plus a one-time €20 administrative fee when joining the club during the period June 1 - December 31.
  • New members joining after January 1 pay €40 (for a half year) plus a one-time €20 administrative fee.

Current Members:

  • The annual membership fee is €80 per year.

Non-Resident Members:

  • The annual membership fee is €40 per year.
  • Any member whose primary residence is not in the greater Antwerp area or Belgium, and therefore unable to participate regularly in AWC Antwerp activities in person, but wishes to maintain an affiliation with AWC Antwerp.

Student Members:

  • The annual membership fee is €40 per year.
  • Full time student enrolled in at a recognized institution.
