Who is eligible to join?

  • AWC Antwerp is open to English-speaking women.
  • Women of all ages, nationalities, ethnicities, religions, income levels, and perspectives are welcome to join.

Benefits of membership

  • Friendship: we are a community of sisterhood, offering friendship across many different nationalities.
  • Membership meetings: we mostly meet in person, either in the city or in the suburbs, or online.
  • Something for everyone: we offer a variety of events.
  • Networking: are you interested in networking? The club community is well connected with each other, and with other FAWCO clubs.
  • Personal growth: We have speakers at the monthly meetings who address a variety of interesting topics. For instance, Your Well-Being is a group that addresses health related topics.
  • Social media: Members can access the private Facebook group, Membership portal, WhatsApp groups and the monthly newsletter.
  • Philanthropic involvement: Opportunities include local and global organizations.
  • FAWCO Membership:  Members can automatically access certain events organized by FAWCO and members clubs, as well as scholarship programs.

AWC Antwerp has only one membership level, that of General Member.

New members:

  • The new member fee is €80, plus a €20 administrative fee when joining the club during the period June 1 - December 31. (Our fiscal year is from June 1 until the next year May 31).
  • New members joining after January 1 pay €40 (for a half year) plus a new member initiation fee of €20 (first year only).
  • A new member automatically becomes a general member.

Current members:

  • The annual membership fee is €80 per year.
  • There is no provision for automatically recurring membership payments.

      • Please make time to read our Privacy Policy.
      • A member of the board will establish contact with all prospective members to get to know them and to share more information about the club.

All information collected by the AWCA from our application form is used to improve our member's experience and keep our activities and events relevant.
