 October Walkathon

The leaves are falling and the air is getting a bit chilly, which can only mean one thing. It must be time for our annual walkathon to benefit Caring Hearts. 

We will meet just outside the Kasteel Rivierenhof at 9:45. From there we'll take a nice stroll, enjoying the autumn scenery in this beautiful park.

Bring your pets! 

Children are welcome! 

Wearing pink is not mandatory, but it is encouraged!!

Practical Details

Location: Rivierenhof, Turnhoutsebaan 246, 2100 Deurne

Date/Time: Saturday, October 18, 9:45 (meet), 10:00 (start walking)

Parking options: East along Ruggeveldlaan, South via Sterckshoflei, West Cogelsplein, near Sterckshof Castle, or along the Turnhoutsebaan and Ruggeveldlaan. 

Virtual Option

Can’t make the in-person walk on the 18th? No problem. We’ll be walking “together” all month long. Keep track of how many kilometers you walk/run each week. Every Saturday, send Cristin a message with your weekly total. She will keep track and post our weekly total on our social media pages. 

Tracking begins on the first of October and ends on the 31st, so let us know soon if you would like to participate. There will be a prize for the person who logs the most kilometers! The kilometers earned during the in-person walk also count!!

Please be sure to include photos if possible. 

Family and friends are more than welcome to participate. Just include their payments with yours. You can even tack their total onto yours.

Price 10 euros (This payment includes the in-person walk and the virtual one)
