MMM: Pillow Party ZAS Augustinus

October is breast cancer awareness month and we will mark it with a pillow-making party at ZAS Augustinus Hospital in Wilrijk.

ZAS Augustinus is our first pillow partner hospital in Antwerp and site of our first AWC Antwerp Breast Lounge. In addition to making pillows, we will have the opportunity to showcase our project to patients, visitors, staff and doctors, who are all invited to stop by.

Venue: ZAS Augustinus, Oosterveldlaan 24, 2610 Wilrijk. We will be meeting in the Aula (Oosterveld entrance of the hospital). 

Date: Thursday, October 29, 2026

Time: 9.30 - 13:00 (registration 09:30 - 10:30)

Speaker: Dr Van Houdt will do a presentation on advances in treatment, including antihormonal therapies. There will be time for Q&A.  

Registration fee: There will be no registration fee for this event; we however will have a variety of handmade goods available that you can purchase, including scarves, dish clots, tissue holders, lavender bags, fabric tulips, and more in support of Caring Hearts. 

We will be meeting in the Aula (Oosterveld entrance of the hospital). It will be signposted.
